We had walked into all the big name rental companies in Harrington Street Hobart with no luck. All cars were booked. Then we discovered Lo-Cost Auto. We Highly Recommend Lo-Cost Auto. - Darren Byrne Added February 03, 2024★ ★ ★ ★ ★We needed a hire car for 2 days as we were on a cruise ship that overnighted in Hobart. We thought hiring a car was the way to go. Honestly Lo Cost Auto Rental were by far the cheapest when I was checking online. The booking process was incredibly easy and when we arrived we were met by friendly staff and a well presented car. We hired the Nissan Xtrail and found it very clean, we paid a little extra for lowering excess and arranged out of hours return ( as it was Sunday late afternoon). Our bond was returned within a few days without any issue. This hire company is definitely worth considering and I would have no hesitation in hiring from them next time we are in Tasmania. You would get no better service from leading hire companies and would pay for more for the vehicle. Very happy with the car, the fee and the overall process.

Just a good company to deal with providing excellent personal service. We probably saved around $800 by not going with one of the so called big companies. We will be spreading the word.
