  I was disappointed with my experience to Savoy baths, I was looking forward to a nice relaxing experience.. reason being is for $35 is not good value for money. The main pool was so cold I didn’t want to go in, I was advised it is set at 28 degrees but it didn’t feel warm, it was a very busy day being a Sunday, in the sauna, there is a sign near the door stating 4 people allowed max however people were not taking notice of the sign and at one stage there were 6 people crammed in so I left. The ladies change rooms are very small there is no room in there to move or get changed properly to put your things down.. I just think it’s way too over priced for what you get.

  Last week I was on holidays in Hobart and decided to indulge myself with a treatment called "Detoxifying Green Tea Wrap" which was an absolutely beautiful experience . That included the green body scrub and wrap combining with essential oils and head massage. I was treated by Alena and she was fantastic. I felt so much relaxed and rejuvenated. Thank you Alena! The reception staff was also great- friendly and accommodating. Thanks to everyone-))

  April 2022. I booked a one hour remedial massage at the Savoy Baths several weeks in advance as booking availability was few and far between. I arrived and was greeted on time and courteously and allowed privacy to change and prepare. My massage therapist briefly discussed area's where I thought I required attention prior to commencing. She was absolutely wonderful. Finding spots and working out stubborn knots that I didn't realise were there. My shoulders were absolutely knotted and she literally went at them with some serious force. Yes, it was painful. But I also knew what I was getting myself into. They're not totally released, but they're on their way. The therapist noted that a good heat pack the next day would assist in relieving some of the aches, to which she was absolutely correct. A few days later and I'm feeling relaxed, both mentally and physically. Definitely booking in for another follow up treatment soon.

  Full of guys throwing each other in the pool and being really noisy. Couples making out in corners. Staff didn’t seem to want to manage it. Spa water dirty, hair in the bathroom plugs. Wasn’t the experience we were hoping for.

  Had a pedicure done from a gift card I had received for Christmas. It was the most uncomfortable experience I have ever received. Feet were expected to put into a large metal food bowl to soak and it started off nice, until the therapist started butchering my cuticles and it hurt. There was no need to cut any of my cuticles as they were fine. Onto colour application of the soft gel… it was all in my cuticles, all over my skin and was lumpy as.. being in the beauty industry myself and wanting to treat myself was a big mistake as a 5 year old could’ve done better and for $80 I expected the standard to be higher. I also had a brow wax done and she had also missed so much hair that needed to be waxed. Ended up going home and doing it myself.
  I had tried to reach out via FB but no one responded. Poor effort for a “high standard” salon.

  I live in Melbourne and went to Tasmania for a holiday for a family friends' birthday week. I had an afternoon free before I flew off and decided to try out Savoy Baths and I am utterly in love!
  
  The location was perfect (right in the city but underground!) and I felt completely relaxed and at peace by the end of it. The room was beautiful and smelt amazing, with soft peaceful music and a warm temperature. The young lady who did my beauty treatment was discreet, lovely to speak to and did such an amazing job.
  
  I got the Green Tea Ionic Wrap and it came with a body scrub, massage, wrap and head massage. I have never felt so pampered and relaxed than I did in those 90 minutes!
  
  I cannot wait to go back there on my next trip and will definitely be using the spa too!!
  
  I love love love Savoy Baths and Day Spa - I've been dreaming about it now that reality has hit :)
