But for the love of God, please DO NOT EVER let yourself get 'upgraded' to an MG. This is the worst car in human existence, and sixt really should know better than to have these cars in their pool. The gearbox is terrible, the lane keeping assist tried to murder me multiple times, the infotainment is terrible, the cruise control can't normally work and the ride is unpredictable and terrible. It's a shame really these cars are in the pool, and again sixt should know better.

- Lachlan Stewart Added September 06, 2023★ ★ ★ ★ ★I was skeptical at first, the pricing for a premium car was too good to be true, and as it turned out I didn't get the car I booked (3 series or C Class) they gave me a 220i - which was a little small. I took it for the first part of my trip around Hobart.
But after speaking to David at SIXT he said he'd call as soon as he got a 3 series back (the reason I didn't get one initially was the previous hire had a puncture). I didn't really expect a call back and to be stuck with a car I couldn't fit my luggage in the boot for a big road trip.... BUT David, called and had a lovely 330i M kit - we did a swap and I had a great road-trip through Tasmania.
SIXT handled it all really well, it's very refreshing from a hire car company. Hats off to David @ Hobart, super nice guy and really helpful.

- Travel with A & N Added August 28, 2023★ ★ ★ ★ ★Staff were great at Hobart Airport. Our rental car was upgraded to LDV D90 SUV diesel 7 seaters. It’s a good car but too big for me & my wife.
