    Great rooms at a great price. Clean and well appointed. The manager was super nice. She helped us avoid a google map problem with a closed road and had other helpful suggestions. Only wish the weather was nicer so we could use the awesome bbq facilities.

    We stayed here for one night but could have easily stayed a few. Lovely hosts, lots of information on where to go/what to do and eat, and super clean, comfortable and well kept room. Highly recommended.

    My mum (who uses a wheely Walker and needs accessibility) and I stayed in a two bed cottage for a two night stay to attend a function in Taranna. Denise was so lovely from check in to check out. The cottage was extremely clean, well appointed, well insulated, comfy beds with electric blankets (timers) and great RC air conditioning.
    The cottages are in great proximity to Port Arthur Historic Site as well as the many other attractions on the Tasman Peninsula.
    Believe me (as someone who once lived in Tassie) and also a tourist with relatives who live there, you are doing yourself and the beautiful Peninsula an injustice if you try and do Port Arthur in a day trip from Hobart.
    Take some time and spend a night, or two or three in the area and stay at Mason’s Cottages. You won’t regret it!

    Masons cottages have to be one of the cleanest and tidiest holiday accommodation places we have ever stayed at. The peninsula location is well central to the scenic beauty of the region. The manager, Denise, is the friendliest and most helpful person you could ever hope to meet. This was our second stay here because our first was so good and can't wait to return again for our next experience. Totally worth it.
