There was a lovely man called Jamie who comforted me and stayed in the room with me with his hand on my leg letting me know I wasn't alone. This made the trauma of an MRI so less traumatic for me. Thank you Jamie you are a wonderful person

- Penne Hardwick Added December 27, 2022★ ★ ★ ★ ★Five stars and more . Brilliant from the time you enter the building everybody is friendly & very helpful. The nurses are fabulous. My elderly dad has been in several times each experience excellent. The emergency department nurses as frantic as they are still had time to offer our family food * drink and gave us extra chairs . All with a cheerful attitude and friendly smile . The food is lovely and plentiful. Keep up this outstanding work

Didn't have a clue what she was doing but all in all wonderful well done

I was left in the waiting room vomiting into bags for hours. I requested an antiemetic and I was told by the triage nurse that the doctors were too busy to prescribed me a nausea pill (???) which takes 2 seconds to do. I spent 4 hours in the waiting room and although they tested me for covid while I waited, they never in those 4 hours checked my vital signs or completed a systemic assessment.
I understand my situations was not life threatening and the department was busy and I could accept I wasnt seen by a doctor in the hours I spent there, but there is no excuse to triaging someone without systemically assessing them. I was beyond shocked with the service and ended up leaving without seeing anyone as the vomiting discontinued.
